This bead was selected to travel on the Space Shuttle Atlantis taking off May 14th.  It was entered in a contest for Beads of Courage which gives beads to children fighting life threatening illnesses.  I am honored that one of my creations was chosen.  Please visit the Beads of Courage site to find out more.  They will be offering Commemorative beads for sale soon!
